First visit

Your first physiotherapy visit: what to expect

The first visit isn't a formality before therapy, it's the most important part of the whole process. We want to understand where your pain really comes from, tell you honestly what we find, and build a plan together before we do anything else.

What the visit includes

The visit has three parts:

1. Conversation (history taking). We ask when the problem started, what makes it worse or better, how you sleep, what you do for work, what you have already tried, and whether you have any other conditions or are taking any medication we should know about. This part often tells us the most.
2. Physical examination and specialised tests. We assess posture, mobility, strength and stability, palpate the painful area and run specific orthopaedic and functional tests, depending on your complaint. When needed we also check sensation, reflexes and strength, to rule out anything that needs a doctor.
3. Explanation and plan. At the end we tell you in plain language what we found, what the likely cause is, how many sessions you will need (a rough estimate) and what you can do at home. If we notice something a doctor should see, we will tell you right away.

After the visit

If you need both therapy and exercise, you can do everything in one place, with the same therapist: from rehabilitation to recreation. We plan therapy and individually supervised exercise together, based on your assessment.

What to bring

Any results you have (MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, discharge letters) and a list of the medication you take. If you have no results at all, that is not a problem, the visit works without scans.

What to wear

Comfortable, sporty clothing. Shorts or leggings and a short-sleeved shirt or top work best, so we can see and move the area that hurts. For the neck and back, a shirt that lifts easily helps; for the knee, shorts. If anything feels uncomfortable, just say so and we will adjust.

Price and payment

The physiotherapist assessment costs 3,000 RSD. You can pay in cash or by bank transfer. Card payment is not available yet. You can see the full price list on the home page.
